Wright is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10 years of experience to be part of a growing R&D team focused on aerospace and defense power systems. This is a hands-on position to rapidly prototype power electronic and control systems for motor and generator applications. Required:- Minimum 10 years of professional electrical engineering experience is required- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is required- Experience with prototype and product development- Experience with supporting testing and test-plan development- Experience with identifying and sourcing components to realize a design- Ability to work with and engage team members across departments- Strong mentoring abilities- Capable of owning tasks from beginning to end Desired- Experience with motors, drives, and power electronics- Experience with medium voltage and three-phase systems- Experience with aircraft and aerospace systems- Experience with generators and micro-grids This position requires the ability to obtain access to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Department of Defense (DoD) and other government facilities. Access to the facilities requires a background investigation by the U.S. Government.
